A look at the learning style

Practical language, with context.

Here’s an example of the kind of expression-focused learning we value. The workbooks include many more expressions, explanations, and guided practice.

Example expression

“What have you been up to?”

Meaning: A friendly, open-ended way to ask what someone has been doing recently.

Example: “Hi, Maya! It’s been a while. What have you been up to?”

Context tip: This works well when reconnecting with someone. It invites a short update, but the other person can choose how much to share.
